2003 Distinguished Alumni

Dr. Tom Greer, Sr.

Dr. Tom Greer, Sr., is an educator whose teaching experiences have spanned the globe. He holds degrees from LC, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and the University of Evansville. He has taught as a classroom English teacher both on the high school and collegiate levels and has also taught English in the Peoples' Republic of China.


Earl Miller

Earl Miller began his legendary musical career at Louisiana College as the winner of the 1944 Caudell Cup Competition. On faculty at Wayland Baptist University (WBU) in Plainview, Texas, for 46 years, Miller is the University organist emeritus and recipient of the Faculty University Service Award and the Distinguished Faculty Service Award. Upon his retirement from WBU, the recital hall in the music building was renamed the Earl W. Miller Recital Hall.


Dr. Randall Sledge

Dr. Randall Sledge's mission work covers several decades and as many continents. First appointed to Peru by the Foreign Mission Board in 1954, he has also served in Columbia and the Serbian Republic of Bosnia. Several of his articles have been published in the "Dialogo Teologico," a Baptist theological journal published in Spanish.


Susan Tudor

Susan Tudor has been called the quintessential modern Christian woman. Active in her church and faithful to her home responsibilities, Tudor has moved through three distinct career changes - social work, real estate, and hospital administration - with style. She is currently the vice president for business development and managed care at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
