Shaina T. Goudeau, PT, DPT, received her BS degree in Radiologic Technology in 2000 from University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, LA, Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 from University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL. Shaina has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, military orthopedic clinics, inpatient rehab, and acute care with an emphasis in orthopedics and neurology. Shaina has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001 and serves as a credentialed APTA Instructor for the “Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program”. Shaina is responsible for overseeing the clinical component of the Louisiana College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education and also serves as an instructor of the program; she has maintained her position with the college since April 2008. Shaina is involved with community service through volunteering at the Hope House, Central Louisiana Food Bank, Veterans Affairs Homeless Stand-down, and as a CASA volunteer for children in foster care. Shaina is married to her husband, Yosha, and is a mother of 2 children, Brodie and Morgan. Her personal interests include photography, reading, and being “team mom” to her children’s softball/baseball/football/soccer teams.
