College Drive Apartments (CDA) provides a generally relaxed and quiet atmosphere, conducive to study, and is a great benefit for upperclassmen honor students. In order to be considered for acceptance into the honors apartments, students must turn in an honors dorm application to the Residence Life office in Student Development. In CDA, each resident is provided with a private bedroom, furnished with a desk, bed, chest of drawers, and a wardrobe. Four bedrooms share a common kitchenette/living area, and a bathroom shared between two bedrooms. The shared bathrooms are spacious and allow sufficient storage for each resident. Each living area/kitchenette includes a mini fridge, four stove top burners, a small sofa, and a four person table. In contrast to living in Cottingham, CDA residents are allowed to keep small kitchen appliances in their kitchenettes, have access to an elevator, and they are given the option of buying the smallest meal plan: the Paw Plan. The small meal plan enables residents to make use of their own kitchens. In addition to the kitchenette in each suite, residents have access to a laundry room and an oven on the first floor. CDA’s many benefits create a warm, home-like environment which encourage a studious atmosphere as well as bonding between residents.
Please note that College Drive Apartments are reserved for upper classmen. A student must be a sophomore by classification and must have a 2.25 GPA. Students wishing to move to CDA must submit an application in the Residence Life Office.
