Student Publications
The purpose of student publications is to provide laboratory experience
in publishing for students enrolled in the journalism program of the Division of Humanities. To be true to the educational objectives of the journalism
program, this laboratory experience will embody the response of a free
press to the informational needs of the academic community. The following
student publications are under the supervision of the Division of Humanities:
The Wildcat
The campus newspaper is published weekly. Written, edited, and published
by student staff members, the newspaper provides a laboratory experience
for the development of journalistic skills. Scholarships are available

The Pine Knot
Published annually, the College yearbook is staffed by students in a laboratory
experience for the development of journalistic skills. Scholarships are
