Math Club

Mission:
A. to further the interests of undergraduate mathematics;
B. to develop an appreciation of the power and beauty possessed by mathematics, due, mainly, to its demands for logical and rigorous modes of thought;
C. to provide an organization for the recognition of outstanding achievement in the study of mathematics in the undergraduate level.

Meeting Times:
Second Tuesday of every month in CH 204

Major Sponsored Activities:
Math Tutoring, High School Math Competition, & American Mathematical Association Conventions

Qualifications for Membership:
A. must be a regularly enrolled student at Louisiana College;
B. must have completed at least two semesters of college course;
C. must have completed at least two college courses in mathematics including at least one semester of calculus and attained an average of B or better in all mathematics courses.
