Louisiana College Nurse Camp
If you've considered a career in nursing, you will want to take advantage
of this unique opportunity. You'll combine hospital tours and CPR training
with the personal experiences of LC nursing students, faculty and graduates.
Discover Louisiana College's exceptional nursing program. The purpose of the
Division of Nursing is to educate, from a Christian perspective, a professional
nurse to practice within a caring context in a variety of health care settings.
The nursing major is a four year baccalaureate program including clinical experience
in both in-patient and ambulatory settings.

June 9-11, 2008 (Monday through 12:00 noon on Wednesday). If you
are a senior and applied to LC, then you may attend Nurse Camp Monday -
Wednesday and stay for Frosh Days Thursday - Friday.

Cost:

$150.00. Includes 2 nights lodging, transportation to area facilities,
all meals and a scrub top. Scholarships are available.

Applications and a $10.00 non-refundable deposit must be received by
April 15, 2008. You will need a letter of recommendation from a teacher,
counselor, or school nurse, and an official copy of your school transcript with a
minimum GPA of 2.6. The remaining balance must be received no later than
May 12, 2008.
