Jeannie Gauthier began her academic career at Louisiana College, earning a BA in English Education.  She later earned an MA and PhD in English at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Her research interests include Early American Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, and Restoration and Eighteenth Century British Literature. Courses she has taught at Louisiana College include Composition I and II, Survey of American Literature, Survey of British Literature, Remedial English, and Advanced Grammar.
