LC Nursing Student Elected to LASN Board of Directors
Friday, February 29th, 2008Pineville, LA… The Louisiana College Department of Nursing is proud to announce LC junior nursing student, Edna Reichman, was recently elected to the 2007-2008 Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Student Nurses (LASN). Reichman will serve as the Region II Director, representing nursing students from the following schools:
- Louisiana College - Rife & Carolyn Saunders Division of Nursing
- Louisiana State University Alexandria - Division of Nursing and Health Sciences
- Louisiana State University Eunice - Division of Nursing and Allied Health
- McNeese State University - College of Nursing
- University of Louisiana at Lafayette - College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions
On the local level, Reichman serves as parliamentarian of the Student Nurses Association at Louisiana College, as well as on the curriculum committee. She enjoys being a “nontraditional” student at LC and is proud to represent her region on the state level.
The Louisiana Association of Student Nurses is an organization that promotes a positive image of nursing, diversity, awareness, & professionalism through practice, education, policy, and advocacy.
