Computer Labs in Cavanaugh Hall
February 13th, 2007The Louisiana College Division of Nursing and the Science Division are utilizing two new computer labs and computers made possible by generous donations given by CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini and Rapides Regional Medical Center. The two new labs were dedicated in the fall 2006. The computer labs include a total of 37 flat screen computers, a power point projector, a separate Central Processing Unit (CPU) and a smart board that allows students to interact in real time with their professor.
The Division of nursing works closely with the Sciences Division to establish a schedule to maximize the use of both computer labs. Nursing Division Chair, Dr. Alex Ferry said, “The new computer labs are an incredible asset for our students as well as science students. They have cutting-edge technology literally at their fingertips.â€
