International Travel by the Debate Squad

Objectives and Description of Course:
The LC Debate Squad attends forensic tournaments throughout the United States and, currently, is the only Louisiana university or college to attend international tournaments such as the Pacific Cup Tournament in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the 23rd Worlds Championship at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Future plans are to attend the Dublin Worlds Championship Tournament in Ireland followed the next year by the British Columbia Worlds Championship Tournament in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

Prerequisites/Eligibility/Requirements:
Must be an active member of the Louisiana College Debate Squad.

Cost:
Louisiana College, through endowments, pays travel, lodging, and tournament fees. Student pays incidental costs.
