Sociology

Both a major and a minor are offered in sociology. Sociology is a valuable liberal arts major for students planning careers not only in social research, criminology, demography, or social psychology, but also for those planning further study in gerontology, rehabilitation, and market research. It provides a useful background for those planning to enter law, personnel management, community planning, and politics.

More than one-half of the sociology graduates complete graduate studies, some becoming authors, college professors, directors of agencies, and leaders in various Christian social ministries.
