Division of Human Behavior
Studying Human Behavior at Louisiana College
Louisiana College takes a unique approach to a liberal arts education, undergirding it with a Christian perspective to put Christ at the center of learning. The Division of Human Behavior includes several specialty areas in which students can learn and grow as they prepare for a career of serving others.
Degree Programs
Within the Division of Human Behavior, students may pursue degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology.
Distinctives
In addition to possessing a highly qualified and experienced faculty, Louisiana College is located in an area of Louisiana where many social service and criminal justice agencies are based, thus providing excellent internship opportunities for Human Behavior students.
The Division is equipped with a computer lab which is available to students engaged in research. Classrooms in the Human Behavior wing are all equipped with technology for projection of computerized presentations, internet access sites, VHS tapes and DVDs.
Alumni
Graduates of the Human Behavior Division have distinguished themselves as college professors and authors of college texts, as heads of various social service and criminal justice agencies, and as leaders in various areas of Christian social ministries, among other things.
