Division of Human Behavior
Criminal Justice
Students in the Human Behavior Division may pursue either a major or minor in Criminal Justice. In addition to the courses taught by the Division’s full-time faculty, many of the Criminal Justice courses are taught by experienced and highly qualified criminal justice professionals from the local community.
Our Criminal justice graduates have distinguished themselves in areas of the city and state police, sheriff’s departments, probation and parole, industrial security, private investigations, and federal investigations and corrections agencies, including the U.S. Bureau of Prisons; the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agency, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Other criminal justice graduates have practiced law after attending and graduating from law schools.
Students majoring in Criminal Justice at Louisiana College are well prepared to meet the increasing demand for college-trained personnel in the area of Criminal Justice.
