**Graduate level students and second degree students are not eligible for scholarships.
TOP 30 Competition (invitation only)
LC's Top 30 Scholars -Smith Scholarship Competition
(ACT 28+ or SAT 1860+)
Louisiana College offers numerous scholarships based on leadership and academic ability.
A prestigious scholarship program, LC's Top 30 Scholars, seeks to reward the most academically gifted students and to provide well-rounded applicants with generous support to continue their educational plans at LC.
Participation in LC's Top 30 Scholars is by invitation only. Thirty applicants will be invited to campus in January to compete for the Smith Scholarship which provides full tuition, room, board, and fees for four years. All invitees automatically receive a $8,500 annual scholarship* to LC and are designated as one of LC's Top 30 Scholars.
All students are encouraged to complete their applications as soon as possible in order to receive timely consideration during the scholarship award process.
Additionally, students may be eligible to apply for departmental scholarships. Applicants may contact the Office of Admissions for additional information about scholarship applications for a particular academic area.
*All scholarship awards are subject to LC financial aid policy. Total amount awarded cannot exceed the student's cost of attendance at LC.
