Constitution Day
On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. The US Constitution is one of America’s most priceless possessions. On September 18, 2006, the country will observe the 10th annual Constitution Day to honor this important document and what it means for this country.
President George W. Bush signed Public Law 108-447 on December 8, 2004, officially declaring every September 17th as Constitution Day. A day of Constitutional education is urged.
