Department of Art
Art Alumni Successes
Probably the best measure of success for our department is our graduates
who have pursued a wide variety of occupations related to art. It is in
these individuals that the foundations program and excellent instruction
LC's Art Department provides shines forth.
LC graduates are illustrators, architects, and industrial designers.
Others have obtained graduate degrees from such institutions such as the
University of Georgia, University of Mississippi, Savannah College of
Art and Design, Louisiana State University, Texas A&M University at
Commerce, and Louisiana Tech. Many have chosen careers in academia as
professors.
These alumni are just a few examples of our graduates and their successes.
