The Louisiana College Library, located in the Richard W. Norton Memorial building, contains more than 135,000 volumes, 199,000 government documents, 75,000 items in microfilm, and subscribes to over 500 journals. Electronic access to 41,000 e-books and 13,200 e-journals is also available. A member of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC), the library has access to over 35 million titles to assist students and faculty in obtaining materials needed for research.

The library has a large computer lab that provides access to the Internet, email, the library catalog, and a variety of software packages supporting the college’s curriculum.

•Monday-Thursday, 7:45 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
•Friday, 7:45 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
•Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
•Sunday, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
•Closed for all college holidays
•Library services cease 15 minutes prior to closing time. 
 

May Term and Summer School Hours: Library will be open Monday - Friday 7:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Closed May 30 and July 4

Library Computer Use Policy
Computing and telecommunications facilities located in the Norton Library are provided primarily for the use of the College's students, faculty, and staff. Recognizing the library's mission to serve users beyond the campus, the College designates a limited number of computer workstations for the general public to use when not needed by LC students, faculty, or staff. Complaints against off-campus visitors will be referred to the library staff and then to campus security if necessary.
