Accelerated B.S.N. Program
The accelerated BSN program (ABSN) has been developed specifically for individuals who already have an undergraduate degree in another discipline. For a whole host of reasons, these people consider transitioning into a career in nursing. Many are seeking the employment opportunities offered within nursing and others state that they are eagerly seeking a career that would allow them to give something of themselves.
ABSN students bring the skills and abilities that helped them complete their prior degree. Many also have a strong career background in other professional areas.
The course pre-requisites need to be completed prior to commencing the ABSN clinical program, but application can be made when pre-req study is underway.
Our nursing recruitment specialist will assist with application information and procedures for interviews, etc. Please contact our Program Specialist, Mrs. Myra McKay at mmckay@lacollege.edu
