National Athletic Trainerâs Association Iota Tau Alpha Epsilon Honor Society
Iota Tau Alpha Epsilon organization, a chapter of the national athletic training education honor society, is designed to embrace those Athletic Training Students who demonstrate superior classroom achievement.
Louisiana College was the fifth institutional member of the organization.
The English translation of the organization name is “We heal those contending for the prize.” The goal of the organization is to provide a certificate of distinction with regards to academic excellence as well as to stimulate interest and investigation in the realm of athletic training education.
- be an undergraduate major in Athletic Training at an institution where a chapter of Iota Tau Alpha is located.
- have completed at least one term of the second year of a four-year curriculum or its equivalent
- have completed at least three term courses in Athletic Training Education, with an average grade of “B” or better of which at least one is not an introductory course
- be in good academic standing. Only regular members may holed the constitutionally specified chapter offices, vote on chapter membership, nominations on national questions, and represent the chapter or vote at national conventions.
