School of Education
Teachers are the givers of dreams to many of our children today. They give insights, share knowledge, and guide pathways. Their influence is boundless. Their preparation is imperative.
The Louisiana College School of Education is committed to offering a practitioner-based educational experience in a Christian environment to prepare teacher candidates to be professional educators committed to life-long learning in an ever changing world. This hands-on experience in the classroom provides a level of education that just book-learning alone does not accomplish. By getting into the classroom at an early level in their college career, candidates in the Louisiana College School of Education, have a greater understanding of the needs and expectations of the educational system.
Faculty in the School of Education have numerous years of experience in K-12 schools as teachers and/or administrators themselves. Between them, they have probably seen and heard it all! The majority of our faculty also possess a doctorial degree in some area of education. They bring a vast depth of knowledge to the college level to prepare new teachers to be the most effective educators possible. To meet our faculty, visit the faculty webpage.
